Job Summary:

Within the realm of banking, individuals in the role of a Floating Senior Financial Analyst deliver personalized financial solutions to clients by supporting them with their daily banking tasks, overseeing the establishment and management of accounts, and advising on appropriate products and services.

Fundamental Tasks and Roles:

Business Development:

• Swiftly create a steady rhythm for SBA business progress within the market, covering a range of elements like:
• Telephone strategy and post-communication steps
• Client retention calls
• New client prospecting
• Utilizing phone calls as a means of external outreach
• Networking events
• Maintain and broaden a sophisticated COI base consisting of community and business influencers to boost referral generation
• Tasked with managing sales activities, analyzing credit information, structuring loans effectively, preparing and submitting SBA loan packets, meeting with clients, and evaluating personal characteristics
• Source and nurture unfamiliar connections to stimulate business growth and opportunities

Credit Acumen:

• Demonstrates proficiency in comprehending corporate credit facilities, which include:
• Developing relevant terms and items in alignment with the company’s needs, asset longevity, and strategic growth objectives
• Examining financial statements and tax returns is a necessary step in determining the creditworthiness and risk of applicants seeking credit
• Gauging credit demands over short and extended periods by understanding business sales patterns and future expansion intentions
• Shares knowledge with potential clients regarding the policies banks adhere to when reviewing loan applications, SBA offerings, and pertinent governmental guidelines
• Works together with attorneys, loan closing agents, and internal team members to secure efficient loan closing and funding within the specified timeframe
• Ensures a harmonious blend of meeting business needs, addressing customer desires, and controlling risk exposure
• Ensures compliance with Seacoast Bank’s Code of Conduct by conforming to its policies and guidelines
• Guides and advises entry-level SBA lenders in their career development
• Follows the established rules and regulations set forth by the bank, which encompass BSA, AML, and OFAC requirements
• Assesses loan applications and compiles essential applicant information while adhering to fair lending principles and ethical sales techniques
• Manages customer inquiries with professionalism and timeliness, escalating issues to the appropriate channels when required

Education and Experience:

• Possessing a high school diploma or its equal is a fundamental requirement
• Candidates with a college degree in a finance-related field are favored
• A background in SBA lending for a minimum of five years is the preferred qualification
• Business development and financial services positions call for a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience
• Displays strong communication skills in written, verbal, and interpersonal contexts
• Profound knowledge of desktops, laptops, tablets, smartphones, and Microsoft Office Suite software
