Job Overview:

The Mortgage Solutions Advisor is responsible for originating residential mortgage loans while delivering exceptional customer service throughout the lending journey. This role focuses on building referral networks, strengthening client relationships, and guiding borrowers toward suitable financing solutions aligned with their financial goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop new mortgage lending opportunities through referrals, networking initiatives, and relationship-building with clients, real estate agents, contractors, title companies, and other industry partners.
• Assess financial information, credit profiles, and home financing goals during consultations with prospective borrowers.
• Recommend mortgage products and explain loan programs, pricing structures, and eligibility requirements in detail.
• Build and maintain long-term referral networks and business partnerships to support consistent loan production.
• Maintain strong knowledge of mortgage lending products, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
• Deliver high-quality customer service throughout the mortgage application and approval process.
• Participate in ongoing training and stay current with industry regulations and lending practices.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, including BSA, AML, and internal policies.
• Support a strong sales- and service-oriented culture within the organization.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of mortgage lending experience preferred, along with at least 1 year in real estate or sales.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, or a related field may substitute for experience.
• Strong understanding of mortgage lending regulations, underwriting standards, and loan programs.
• Familiarity with FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, VA, and residential mortgage products.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel).
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently with professionalism and accountability.
