Job Overview:

The Branch Teller serves as the primary point of contact for customers, delivering FirstBank’s service excellence by efficiently processing transactions, assisting with inquiries, and identifying opportunities for cross-selling and appropriate referrals in line with bank standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support customers with their transactional needs by following established procedures, service standards, and brand guidelines, including responding to inquiries about account balances, transaction activity, fees, and interest rates.
• Ensure smooth daily operations by maintaining cash drawer security, balancing daily cash transactions, adhering to item processing procedures, identifying counterfeit currency, handling coin processing, reconciling ATM balances, and keeping teller stations fully supplied.
• Demonstrate knowledge of banking products and services while guiding customers on digital banking options such as mobile banking, online platforms, ATMs, and other electronic services.
• Identify customer needs and connect them with appropriate bank representatives for additional products or services.
• Maintain a secure environment by complying with all operational procedures and confidentiality standards, including CTRs, SARs, Regulation CC requirements, documentation practices, and robbery prevention protocols.
• Deliver consistent and high-quality service aligned with FirstBank’s customer experience standards.
• Follow all applicable banking regulations, internal controls, operational procedures, and risk management policies, including fraud prevention and secure cash handling practices.
• Maintain dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• Involves handling sensitive and confidential financial information.
• Requires knowledge of banking regulations, compliance standards, and FirstBank policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Basic computer and math skills required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Less than two years of relevant experience preferred.
• Must meet bonding requirements within the first six months of employment.
