Lending Support Coordinator

Job Summary:

The Lending Support Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the Mortgage Banker by assisting clients and partners throughout the loan application process. This involvement is significant for facilitating efficient processing, maintaining timely communication, and driving enhanced loan production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Mortgage Banker by acting as a central point of contact for customers, builders, and real estate agents.
• Assist with coordinating and organizing all necessary information for loan applications and processing workflows.
• Provide clients with regular status reports regarding the progress of their loan files through to the final closing phase.
• Discuss prerequisites for loan applications and offer professional insights into the progress of each file.
• Execute general administrative tasks and provide comprehensive operational support where required.
• Verify that all lending activities strictly adhere to the bank's internal policies and fulfill all regulatory expectations.

Qualifications:

• Educational requirements include a high school diploma or an equivalent certification.
• Preferential consideration is given to individuals knowledgeable in FHA, conventional, and other diverse mortgage loan types.
• A foundational understanding of mortgage functions and industry standards is highly beneficial.
• Effective professional communication capabilities and high proficiency in computer operations.

• A proactive, customer service-oriented mindset.
• Proven aptitude in both verbal and written professional communication.
• Demonstrated ability to efficiently multitask and manage multiple competing responsibilities.

Work Environment:

• Secure home offices are mandatory for remote roles, though traditional office-based positions may also be available.
• The position involves extended durations of computer-based tasks and digital operations.

Additional Information:

• Occasional travel may be necessary to attend in-person business meetings or training.
• Active involvement in all mandatory corporate compliance and regulatory training programs.
