The Client Services Banker position entails delivering services to customers at the Banking Center and supporting the team in accomplishing sales, service, and operational targets aligned with Webster's Strategic Guidelines. Duties involve executing all customer-related financial transactions following the Bank's rules, regulations, and guidelines. Moreover, this role employs exceptional communication and attentive listening skills to comprehend customers' financial needs, establish trust, maximize sales opportunities, generate leads, provide high-quality customer service, and establish and sustain a solid partnership with various business segments through collaboration and communication. Proficiency in supervising and coaching fellow relationship Bankers is also essential

Responsibilities:

• Timely and accurate customer responses are delivered by efficiently capitalizing on available resources and tools
• Identifying the needs of clients and providing relevant financial products and services by engaging in needs-driven discussions to establish and strengthen partnerships.
• Complete regular teller tasks by handling deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, loan repayments, and any other required financial transactions.
• Support the division of the market strategy by introducing sales, retention, and various banking projects to effectively meet the growth and profitability targets of the Banking Center.
• The desired outcome is to meet or exceed individual and team objectives in sales, service, and operations
• Remains in alignment with Federal and State regulations in addition to internal bank protocols and processes. Achieving or outperforming branch audit standards and evaluations of operational effectiveness
• Help in overseeing colleagues at the banking center by providing coaching assistance to other bankers. Act as a role model and aid in the integration of new colleagues.

Learning Experiences, Expertise, and Abilities:

• Prospective candidates should possess a high school diploma or GED, with a preference for an Associate's or Bachelor's degree.
• 4 years of experience in customer sales and service desired, with an ideal of 1-2 years in a supervisory capacity. Demonstrated proficiency in taking the lead, providing guidance, and encouraging others.
• Proficiency in all products and services within the company
• Maintains familiarity with all the platforms utilized for branch transaction processing.
• Manifests strong customer service skills and a talent for building teamwork, which leads to a positive working ambiance.
• Flexibility in working hours, including weekends and extended shifts, along with the potential for travel to different Banking Centers, may be expected.
