As a Private Banker (PB), you will be responsible for building, expanding, and retaining existing client relationships while providing an exceptional client experience. Private Bankers provide expert financial solutions to existing and prospective clients by assessing their financial needs and offering solutions through bank products and services to help clients accomplish their current and future financial goals. Private Bankers are experts in marketing Simmons solutions to our existing customer base and prospects through daily interactions, outbound calling efforts, business visits, networking events, and periodic 'At Work' events. Private Bankers are expected to achieve and/or exceed their established individual and branch goals.

Primary Job Functions and Obligations:

• Guide clients in utilizing the bank's resources, including branch services, online tools, and support from business partners.
• Achieve personal goals through in-person and outbound interactions, providing solutions and recommendations grounded in a needs-based approach.
• Assist clients with opening and closing accounts, selecting suitable accounts, reviewing account details, and adhering to BSA and CIP requirements.
• Support consumer loan applications by facilitating requests, staying informed on procedures and policies, and overseeing branch loan portfolios.
• Identify client needs and connect them with specialized teams including small business, corporate, financial advisor, and mortgage partners.
• Ensure a high level of client satisfaction by actively engaging with clients and delivering exceptional service.
• Ensure all departmental tasks comply with laws, regulations, policies, and procedures, including mandatory compliance training.
• Handle client requests and transactions professionally, using authentic conversations to assess needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Perform additional assignments as directed.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in motivating and communicating information one-on-one and in small groups with clients, coworkers, and other stakeholders.
• Adopt a collaborative, team-oriented approach to support clients in a dynamic banking environment.
• Lead and mentor branch staff according to established procedures in the absence of the AFCM.
• HS Diploma/GED required.
• Minimum one year of customer-focused experience in a target-driven environment.
• Compliance with the National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) registration is required.

Computer Skills:

• Proficiency with MS Office programs.
• Use of social media platforms to enhance brand awareness and market engagement.

Other Qualifications:

• Occasional travel may be required for meetings, training, or supporting bank conversions, with minimal overnight stays.
• Ability to provide guidance and assistance to other financial institutions as needed.
