By working in a TD Store, the Financial Services Associate is instrumental in ensuring that customers receive outstanding service and have their everyday banking needs met promptly and accurately. They also play a pivotal role in educating customers on TD's range of products and services, as well as referring them to other experts within the organization for more tailored solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Consistently implementing TD's brand pledge to customers through the consistent practice of suitable behaviors aimed at delivering an exemplary customer service encounter in the physical store
• Handling customer transactions with efficiency, this includes tasks such as deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and safe deposit box transactions
• Carries out cash handling tasks meticulously, which involve activities like check cashing, currency authentication, cash drawer reconciliation, and nightly deposits
• Addresses customer queries and problems following standard guidelines and elevating them to supervisors when required
• Demonstrates lobby leadership through managing customer traffic, giving a warm reception to customers, and offering suitable assistance
• Recognizes the timing and manner in which customers prefer to engage with banking services, offering guidance on self-service and digital alternatives aligned with their preferences
• Functions as a customer champion by engaging in personalized dialogues to understand requirements, suggesting financial and digital alternatives, and connecting customers with relevant partners for support
• Demonstrates the ability to make effective choices and deliver timely resolutions, escalating challenging situations to higher authorities
• Maintains compliance with company guidelines and regulatory requirements like the Bank Secrecy Act and Patriot Act when performing operational duties to mitigate risks and ensure customer protection
• Validates the identities of customers by adhering to prescribed customer authentication protocols
• Ensures the accuracy of cash amounts in cash drawers, ATMs, and TCDs/TCRs where needed
• Abides by the regulations and guidelines governing the handling of safe deposit boxes
• Accountable for managing cash drawers and vaults, the person is responsible for upholding designated cash thresholds and ensuring cash is protected at all times

Requirements:

• A high school diploma or a GED equivalency is a common requirement for various employment opportunities and further educational pursuits
• Candidates are encouraged to have at least six months of relevant work experience, although this requirement can also be fulfilled by showcasing an equivalent level of proficiency through volunteering, education, or military service
• Required to be present during scheduled operating hours, which may include weekends, evenings, and holidays
• Strong customer service abilities are an advantage
