Job Summary:

Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or GED equivalency showcases the individual's educational background at the secondary level.
  • Having accumulated one year or more of customer service or sales experience (volunteering, educational pursuits, or military background can be interchanged).
  • Teller experience preferred.
  • Successful participation in teller training is mandatory.
  • Desired attributes encompass proficient customer communication and product instruction capabilities.
  • Remarkable organization abilities; adept at managing multiple duties in quick-paced scenarios.
  • Skillful in conveying messages concisely, clearly, and coherently.
  • Competence in structuring tasks by priority, achieving deadlines, and functioning independently.
  • Showing keen judgment and skilled at effectively addressing challenges.
  • Skillful in operating Microsoft Office programs.
  • Notary License preferred.

  • Acts as a liaison between clients and loan products, aiding in the process of application submission.

  • Tailors customer interactions to add a genuine and personal touch.

  • Plays a key role in supporting TD's customer service strategy through trust development, consultative support, and proactive recommendation delivery.
  • Functions as a level where customer concerns or questions are escalated.
  • Manages lobby operations by regulating customer flow, greeting patrons, and facilitating the discovery of their needs.
  • Educates customers on digital and self-help preferences that suit their needs.
  • Executes strategies to provide service in a surprisingly warm and personal manner.

Sales & Solutions:

  • Acknowledges the transaction necessities of customers and educates them about utilizing self-service options such as digital tools.
  • Forges alliances with banker affiliates to optimize the referral process.
  • Partakes in loan-related duties within the scope of Mortgage Loan Originator definitions outlined in Regulation Z and the SAFE Act.
  • Risk management operations aim to protect an organization from financial losses, reputational damage, and other adverse effects of unforeseen events
  • Tellers have the capacity to process transactions like cashing checks, depositing funds, withdrawing money, and transferring finances.
  • Conforms to fraud prevention strategies and operational practices.
  • Teller training is a prerequisite for new hires to carry out Customer transactions accurately.
