As a Retail Teller Associate at Rockland Trust, you are at the heart of our branches and the frontline of customer service, proactively exploring customer needs and offering personalized advice that serves to develop and maintain relationships. You are the approachable face of Rockland Trust, championing our goals and guiding customers through the intricacies of banking.

What You'll Do:

• Create a welcoming experience for customers by greeting them warmly and directing them to the colleague best suited to support their needs.
• Deliver consistent, efficient, and respectful customer service in person and over the phone.
• Assist customers in identifying Rockland Trust banking solutions that align with their individual financial goals.
• Accurately process deposits, withdrawals, payments, check verification, and other financial transactions.
• Participate in decision-making with your immediate supervisor, gaining additional responsibility as your knowledge and experience grow.
• Partner with the training team and branch colleagues to complete the Rockland Trust Teller Training program.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfortable using technology, including computers, to achieve business objectives.
• Sales-driven and customer-focused mindset.
• Ability to maintain a consistently professional appearance.
• Positive approach when interacting with customers and team members.
• Ability to meet standard office expectations, including prolonged standing and continuous customer interaction.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness and ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, based on customer needs.
• Ability to successfully complete the required training program.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• One to two years of teller experience or demonstrated cash handling and customer service experience.
