Job Overview:

As a Customer Relations Banker at First Citizens Bank, you will continue the practice of fostering and broadening relationships with business owners in your community to help them reach their financial objectives.

Customer Relations Bankers are responsible for acquiring and managing a portfolio of business banking relationships.This associate engages bank partners to provide a full range of deposit and related business services. Larger relationships may be managed with manager approval and/or appropriate partner support. Develops and maintains an active prospect list, customer outreach plan and quality referral sources in accordance with a sales plan to achieve production goals and profitability objectives.

Qualifications:

• Either possess a bachelor's degree with four years of experience in business lending, credit, or business development, or have a high school diploma/GED with eight years of experience in the field of business lending, credit, or business development.
• Demonstrated aptitude in advancing business opportunities and substantiated capability in fostering and enhancing client associations.
• Demonstrating solid capabilities in financial analysis and evaluating credit underwriting.
• Grasping the range of loan options, deposit products, and approaches to enhancing cash management efficiency.
• Proficiency in communication, negotiation, and delivering impactful presentations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Instituted COIs and channels through which referrals are received
• Skills in financial analysis and credit assessment are critical for accurately determining the creditworthiness of borrowers and setting appropriate credit limits
• Having insight into business lending, deposit options, and cash management solutions is critical for financial stability
• Ability to offer expert guidance and advice on financial topics
• Experienced in sales estimation and future planning
