Branch Training Officer

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading operations and sales training sessions for our Branch and Call Center employees. We are seeking an individual who is passionate about education and growth in the work environment and can conduct training for employees in a manner that is clear, upbeat, and dynamic.

Responsibilities include:

• The facilitation of Retail Learning & Development sessions entails guiding participants in navigating Rockland Trust procedures
• Support the development of training materials that reinforce Rockland Trust's customer service standards and sales philosophy
• Equip both virtual and in-person classrooms for the arrival of incoming participants
• Design and assemble all the necessary educational tools for every class
• Provide suggestions to the Training Managers on infusing creativity and variety into the classroom training content to maintain participant interest and motivation
• Experienced in conducting training sessions in virtual environments and at different Rockland Trust locations
• Evaluate the skillset and quality of work performance of staff members
• Aid the Retail Learning & Development Training Team with administrative tasks and projects as and when they require assistance

Qualifications include:

• Preferential consideration will be given to candidates with a training background or pertinent banking experience
• Being confident in presenting engaging discussions to audiences of various sizes and backgrounds
• Firm commitment to delivering outstanding customer support
• The skill of effectively communicating in both spoken and written forms is vital for engaging with others successfully
• Ability to navigate group conversations and practical exercises, delivering professional evaluations
• Exhibiting a talent for inspiring others by upholding a high level of energy and patience with an optimistic attitude
• Exhibiting the ability to operate efficiently in a fast-paced work environment
• Portrays a focused, systematic, and structured approach to accomplishing tasks and goals
• Exhibits strong computer and technology competencies, particularly in programs like Microsoft Office suite and workplace video conferencing software
• Solid communication skills essential for working alongside new recruits and internal staff
• Availability to attend training sessions at different locations served by Rockland Trust
