Job Description:

Relationship Managers are responsible for building and maintaining strong business relationships while supporting the growth of commercial partnerships within the organization.

This role focuses on expanding business opportunities by developing and managing relationships with middle-market clients. The Relationship Manager delivers customized financial solutions across lending, deposits, and other banking services, while achieving sales objectives within established risk guidelines. You will also identify new opportunities, strengthen existing client relationships, and provide strategic financial advice, serving as the primary contact to ensure clients’ banking needs are effectively met while managing a profitable portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish and manage relationships with new and existing commercial clients.
• Identify opportunities for lending, deposit growth, and cross-selling banking products.
• Structure, negotiate, and close financing solutions.
• Analyze financial statements and monitor client credit performance.
• Provide strategic financial guidance aligned with client business objectives.
• Develop partnerships with industry professionals and referral sources.
• Ensure compliance with credit policies and risk management standards.
• Drive portfolio growth and consistently meet or exceed sales targets.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Develop expertise in specific industries or market segments as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Required)
• 6+ years of experience in commercial banking, credit, or a related field (Required)
• 2+ years of experience managing complex client portfolios (Required)

• Strong relationship-building and business development capabilities
• Solid understanding of credit analysis, risk management, and financial principles
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines effectively
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
