The Customer Relationship Banker role will provide services for Banking Center customers and assist the team in achievement of sales, service, and operation goals, based on Webster's Strategic Guidelines. The role will process all customer related financial transactions in accordance with the rules, regulations, and guidelines of the Bank. Additionally, this role uses excellent communication and active listening skills to learn about the customer's financial needs, establish trust, optimize sales opportunities, generate leads, and provide quality customer service as well as develop and maintain a strong partnership with various business segments through collaboration and communication. Ability to supervise and coach fellow relationship Bankers.
Educational Attainment, Career Highlights, and Skill Set:
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, though an Associate's or Bachelor's degree is preferable.
Preference for candidates with 2–4 years of customer sales and service experience, particularly those with 1–2 years in a supervisory position. Demonstrated proficiency in leading, coaching, and motivating others.
Adept awareness of every product and service available.
Ensures familiarity with all systems used for branch transaction processing.
Evidences strong customer service skills and a talent for bolstering teamwork, thereby fostering a positive workplace environment.
Necessary skills involve having the flexibility to work a flexible and/or rotating schedule, possibly on weekends, extended hours, and occasional travel to alternative Banking Centers.

Responsibilities:
Utilizing the tools and resources at disposal allows for accurate and timely responses to customers' needs.
Identifying the requirements of clients and suggesting suitable financial products and services through tailored conversations to cultivate and deepen relationships.
Perform repetitive teller activities like depositing money, withdrawing funds, cashing checks, repaying loans, and fulfilling other transactional needs.
Support the division of the market strategy by implementing sales, retention, and other bank initiatives to execute the Banking Center's growth and profit objectives.
Expectations include reaching or surpassing goals in sales, service, and operations both at an individual level and as a team.
Adhering to Federal and State regulations alongside internal bank policies and procedures. Achieving or exceeding branch audit standards and operational evaluation expectations.
Offer supervision for banking center colleagues by providing coaching and support for fellow bankers. Play a key role in mentoring and assisting in the integration of new bankers.
