The TFA role is a three-year program with a base salary for Wealth Management Advisor or planners who will be providing financial planning advice and selling investment management services.
A Wealth Management Advisor will need to leverage their experience to service the unique and complex needs of clients in the Mass Affluent (MA) segment by identifying needs, reviewing financial goals and making investment recommendations aligned to their client's goals. The role will serve as the central point of contact, responsible for providing client service & developing the relationship to achieve greater share of wallet by helping clients achieve their goals related to asset accumulation, preservation, growth, and protection.
Depth & Scope:
Familiarity with selling investment options and offering financial planning services
Highlights a focus on being customer-centric by consistently delivering exceptional service in every customer interaction to optimize retention and growth
Vows to provide new clients with a complete on-boarding experience, which encompasses an in-depth client exploration, performing a financial needs analysis to offer advice focused on goals, introducing the centralized client servicing team as per client requirements, and finalizing all mandatory client documents
Capacity to collaborate effectively in increasing lead generation efforts
Demonstrates proficiency in managing goals, prioritizing tasks, and being adaptable to a fast-paced work environment
Ensures a premium MA Planning Experience is extended to all clients, new or longstanding
Establish an efficient system to guarantee the execution of Annual Client Review (ACR) meetings for all clients, incorporating an enhanced schedule focused on the client's overall wealth needs and encouraging proactive engagements on a regular basis
Manages TD Wealth client relationships within the MA segment, handling all aspects of the client's engagement with TD Bank and making referrals to Retail and Wealth partners and related entities as required
Implements a distinct service strategy to enhance the client experience in MA
Fulfills quarterly and annual sales aims
Expands the share of wallet by anticipating client requirements and suggesting optimal wealth management solutions. Aims to maximize profits and deliver exceptional client service quality
Spot openings in your existing client base and network to refer potential clients to Retail and Small Business/Commercial Partners
Carries out responsibilities diligently, ensuring compliance with regulations and policies
Upholds compliance with federal, state, and SRO regulations while also abiding by firm-specific policies related to various business activities as stipulated by entities like the NY Department of Financial Services and others
Secures the attainment of all specified Continuing Education necessities
Expected to understand and follow the guidelines and protocols of TD Bank & TD Wealth
In charge of implementing the guidelines of TD's Customer Identification Program (CIP) by acquiring and validating the necessary customer identification information, and conducting additional Customer Due Diligence and Enhanced Due Diligence Requirements outlined in the Business Unit AML procedures
Reveals client assets and forwards privileged clients to appropriate HNW Wealth partners when necessary
Tasked with establishing and contributing to a favorable and productive workplace environment that is dedicated to supporting the broader Wealth team
Imparts guidance, financial recommendation training, and consistent evaluation to Retail and Small Business team
Education & Experience:
The role necessitates a bachelor's degree or an equivalent level of hands-on experience
Successfully engaged in investment sales and financial planning for a period of more than two years
Broad knowledge of investment products and services, encompassing a variety of options
Required registrations encompass the SIE, Series 7, and Series 65/66; individuals with only the Series 65 will need to procure a Series 63 or 66 during the Licensing & Registration schedule
Compulsory Life/Health Licenses or the capacity to obtain them as outlined in the Licensing & Registration Schedule is required
Proficient awareness of strategies for advancing a wealth management business through the utilization of different products, services, and insights into the industry
Shown competence in achieving and surpassing sales objectives
Well-versed in the intricacies of retail and small business banking
Proven capability in building relationships and partnering successfully with other departments within TD Bank, recognized as America's Most Convenient Bank
Ability to move within the specified location to meet with prospects, clients, and partners, with travel amounting to 75% of the work time
