Successful TTreasury Officers demonstrate strong analytical capabilities, effective communication skills, and a proactive approach to managing and supporting client relationships.
Under general direction, the Treasury Management (TM) Sales Analyst supports Treasury Management Officers (TMOs) in driving Treasury Management revenue growth. This role is responsible for creating, analyzing, and delivering proposals, RFPs, and sales presentations. The position includes pre-call planning, preparation, and participation in joint sales calls with TMOs and Commercial Bankers. The TM Sales Analyst delivers a high level of internal customer support by understanding and promoting the organization’s sales culture and vision across member banks, maintaining reporting and performance metrics, and managing additional sales support functions within assigned business lines.
Structuring Your Schedule for Optimal Time Usage:
Prepare projected financial analyses, presentations, and client profitability assessments for Treasury opportunities
Ensure thorough pre-call planning and material preparation for client and prospect meetings within assigned territories
Collaborate across business lines to gather information and efficiently develop proposal responses
Participate in sales calls with Commercial Bankers and TMOs to gain familiarity with client relationships and support complex onboarding efforts
Manage onboarding discussions and deliver sales demonstrations for Treasury and Payment Solutions platforms
Coordinate the onboarding of new accounts and implementation of TM services for both new and existing clients
Support and coordinate exception pricing adjustments
Conduct post-deal account reviews to ensure accurate billing for new clients and services
Prepare comprehensive Relationship Overviews detailing account structures, industry trends, and product or service recommendations
Participate in fraud mitigation discussions and oversee the implementation of positive pay solutions for impacted clients
Serve as a backup to TMOs and assist clients as needed; identify and recommend TM products to increase relationship penetration through reviews, financial analyses, proposals, and direct client interactions
Promote client service communication channels and cross-department collaboration; prepare materials for internal meetings, pre-call planning, and process updates
Review Salesforce dashboards weekly to identify and resolve discrepancies between sales opportunities and implementation progress
Participate in regular pipeline meetings with TMOs to prepare for the next phase of sales support for identified opportunities
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, or a related field
1–3 years of relevant experience, preferably in sales, sales support, and/or commercial banking
Knowledge of basic cash management products, commercial card solutions, and standard banking practices
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
Ability to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines while remaining adaptable and detail-oriented
