Job Overview:Customer Banking Advisor

Customer Banking Advisors focus on identifying client financial needs and delivering tailored banking solutions that support improved financial health and long-term success.

This is a full-time position (40 hours/week) based in Clinton, MD. The Customer Banking Advisor is responsible for providing outstanding customer service, supporting sales and service activities, and building long-term client relationships while recommending suitable banking products and solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive sales through proactive engagement with customers in branch, over the phone, and during scheduled appointments
• Assess customer financial needs and recommend appropriate banking products and services
• Open accounts, process transactions, and assist with lending and service-related inquiries
• Strengthen customer relationships using CRM systems and digital banking tools
• Ensure compliance with banking policies, regulations, and risk management standards
• Support daily branch operations and contribute to achieving sales targets

Additional Responsibilities:

• May be authorized to perform Notary Public services

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 2+ years of customer service or sales experience preferred

Skills:

• Strong communication and relationship-building abilities
• Customer-focused mindset with a sales-oriented approach
• Ability to collaborate effectively and use digital tools efficiently

Licensing Requirement:

• May require registration with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS)
