Job Summary:

The Treasury Manager delivers tailored financial solutions by supporting clients with daily banking activities, managing accounts, and recommending appropriate products and services to meet their financial goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development:

• Establish and maintain a consistent SBA business development rhythm, including:
• Planning calls and monitoring follow-up actions
• Conducting client retention and new client prospecting calls
• Engaging in outbound outreach to prospects and clients
• Participating in networking events
• Build and expand a well-established Center of Influence (COI) network of community and business leaders to drive referral opportunities
• Oversee sales efforts, conduct credit assessments, structure loans, prepare and submit SBA loan packages, conduct client meetings, and evaluate personal characteristics
• Develop and nurture strategic business relationships to drive growth and foster new opportunities

Credit Expertise:

• Demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of business credit options, including:
• Structuring terms and offerings that align with business needs, asset lifecycle, and growth strategies
• Analyzing financial statements and tax returns to assess creditworthiness and risk for individuals and businesses
• Evaluating short- and long-term credit requirements based on business sales cycles and expansion plans
• Educating clients on bank underwriting policies, SBA programs, and applicable regulatory standards
• Coordinating with attorneys, loan closers, and internal teams to ensure timely loan closing and funding
• Balancing business objectives with client needs while managing risk exposure
• Upholding the principles of Seacoast Bank’s Code of Conduct
• Mentoring junior SBA lenders to support professional growth
• Ensuring adherence to bank policies and regulatory requirements, including BSA, AML, and OFAC
• Reviewing loan applications and gathering necessary client information while maintaining fair lending and ethical sales practices
• Managing client inquiries promptly and professionally, escalating issues when necessary

Education & Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; finance-related college degree preferred
• Minimum five years of direct experience in SBA lending preferred
• Over 10 years of experience in business development or financial services required
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Proficient in using desktops, laptops, tablets, smartphones, and Microsoft Office Suite
