Job Overview:Loan Administration Specialist

The Loan Administration Specialist is responsible for servicing consumer, small business, SBA, and commercial loans in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment. This role involves complex assignments requiring independent judgment and initiative to resolve issues and make recommendations. The position interacts with bank staff at all levels, customers, escrow/title personnel, attorneys, and other external professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete loan servicing tasks, including general loan maintenance, processing payments, entering data accurately, creating loan documentation, perfecting liens, supporting escrow and tax functions, reviewing flood information, and reconciling the general ledger.
• Perform loan processing for consumer, small business, SBA, and commercial loans, following company workflows and regulatory guidelines.
• Deliver outstanding service and timely assistance to internal and external customers.
• Collect relevant data to help leadership coordinate and optimize daily operations.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and assist in implementing workflow enhancements.
• Ensure accuracy, meet deadlines, and report progress for potential task reassignment.
• Provide guidance as a subject matter expert in loan servicing, helping others understand processes, policies, and procedures.
• Promote cross-training to enhance team members’ skills and versatility.
• Collaborate in cross-functional projects across organizational units.
• Stay current with bank regulations, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance.

Qualifications and Skills:

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• 2-4 years of experience in advanced consumer, SBA, or commercial/business loan servicing.
• Comprehensive knowledge of consumer, SBA, and commercial/business loans, lending products, services, and documentation.
• Ability to multitask effectively and adapt to frequent workflow changes.
• Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with proven multitasking capability.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills across organizational levels.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, loan servicing software, and other office tools.
• Ability to perform efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced service environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical aptitude.

Compensation:
