As a Financial Planner at PNC, you will work within retail banking locations while supporting clients across multiple branches and managing an assigned portfolio of relationships. Responsibilities for Financial Planner:

• Works closely with clients to develop investment, insurance, and personalized financial planning strategies.
• Builds, manages, and expands a portfolio of investment and insurance relationships.
• Delivers exceptional customer service by effectively managing sales and service activities, identifying opportunities, and connecting clients with appropriate internal partners.
• Develops and strengthens client relationships through networking, business development, and proactive outreach efforts.
• Enhances customer loyalty and increases share of wallet by providing outstanding financial guidance and service experiences.
• Uses product expertise and operational knowledge to resolve customer concerns accurately and efficiently.
• Designs and implements customized investment and insurance strategies aligned with client financial goals.
• Provides professional financial recommendations tailored to individual client needs and objectives.
• Reviews financial plans regularly and recommends adjustments based on changing circumstances or goals.
• Educates and coaches branch employees and internal partners on identifying investment opportunities.
• Promotes investment awareness and financial education within branch teams.
• Partners with branch leadership and investment sales associates to support branch investment performance goals.
• Maintains effective communication with internal and external business partners to encourage referral growth.
• Monitors business performance and pipeline activity in collaboration with branch managers and partners.
• Ensures timely follow-up on leads and referrals while meeting established service expectations.
• Complies with all applicable laws, regulations, company policies, and operational procedures.

Qualifications and Experience:

• A Bachelor’s degree is generally preferred for this position.
• Typically requires at least 2 years of related professional experience.
• An equivalent combination of education, certifications, military service, or relevant work experience may also be considered.
• Strong skills in client prospecting, relationship management, credit analysis, financial analysis, financial modeling, public speaking, and sales strategy execution.
• Excellent coaching, communication, leadership, and customer experience management abilities.
