Role Overview:

The Lead Auditor is in charge of overseeing the planning and implementation of audits that pertain to distinct business sectors or functional areas of the company. Additionally, they supervise the Audit team in conducting these audits.

Depth & Scope:

• Contributes to shaping audit strategies for targeted businesses or functional areas, encompassing budgeting and resource allocation.
• Bears the main responsibility for executing audits. Designs and manages audits, and provides supervision to staff involved in several audits, concluding findings, and communicating the outcomes to the business sector.
• Undertakes testing in vital audit sectors. Scrutinizes audit paperwork in detail. Supervises the process of following up on findings and validating issues.
• Verifies that audits are implemented and finalized according to predetermined criteria and within specified time, budget, and scope constraints to meet established deadlines.
• Directs a team of a modest size tasked with a particular audit, providing support and performance feedback during the audit period.
• They evaluate the risks inherent in specific business lines or functions, drawing on their subject matter proficiency to identify internal and external factors that may impact them.
• Functions as the key intermediary between management and the audit team on matters related to scope, findings, and status updates.

Education & Experience:

• Undergraduate degree required
• 7+ years of relevant experience
