Commercial Credit Officers play a crucial role in facilitating the growth and development of businesses by providing them with the necessary financial support through loans

Generating a list of potential new clients and engaging in activities focused on new business development are crucial for establishing new customer relationships regularly. Contacts existing customers to cultivate fresh business opportunities and expand or maintain current connections.

Required Skills:

• Elevated sales and marketing competencies
• A thorough comprehension of credit legal paperwork is necessary
• Shown proficiency in reviewing and assessing documentation for risk factors
• Experience dealing with regulatory, compliance, and due diligence obligations
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities
• Knowledge of bank operations and understanding of the credit approval process
• Skilled in organization, rational thinking, and articulate expression
• With intrinsic motivation and an independent spirit, this person can multitask, handle a demanding workload, and meet crucial deadlines
• A basic understanding of Word, Excel, and Power Point is necessary
• Capability to develop and uphold efficient collaborative bonds

Required Experience:

• Suitable candidates will have proven a development in their commercial endeavors.
• Experience of over five years in credit analysis and portfolio management
• The desired candidate should have a background of three years or more in middle market commercial lending, solid proficiency in credit analysis, and a successful background in fostering, sustaining, and sealing new business transactions.
• The skillset to apply deductive and inductive reasoning in problem-solving contexts
• Proficiency in assimilating new knowledge and using it to address challenges and make decisions down the line
