Job Description:

The Cash Management Associate supports daily branch operations by processing customer transactions, managing cash accurately, and providing professional banking assistance. This role handles account-related requests, maintains customer relationships, follows operational and security procedures, and identifies opportunities to connect customers with suitable financial products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process routine banking transactions at branch teller counters and drive-through locations.
• Provide friendly and efficient customer service while developing strong customer relationships.
• Handle deposits, loan payments, checks, savings withdrawals, night deposits, and mailed deposits.
• Process cashier's checks and assist with savings bond redemption transactions.
• Respond to customer questions and provide account assistance both in person and by telephone.
• Complete additional financial transactions and prepare currency transaction reports when required.
• Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate banking products, services, and referrals.
• Record customer activities, referrals, interactions, and other relevant information in 360View and applicable systems.
• Assist with consumer credit card applications and related customer requests.
• Process account closures, check orders, foreign currency exchanges, statement copies, referrals, and safe-deposit box requests.
• Balance cash drawers by counting currency, verifying transaction records, and resolving or reporting discrepancies.
• Follow established banking policies, operational procedures, security requirements, and dual-control practices.
• Protect customer privacy and maintain the confidentiality of financial and personal information.
• Participate in training programs to improve knowledge of banking procedures, products, services, and systems.
• Work closely with branch staff to improve customer satisfaction and support branch goals.
• Maintain knowledge of financial products and demonstrate effective use of customer-facing banking systems.
• Complete assigned responsibilities accurately while minimizing transaction errors.
• Participate in approved volunteer, community, and branch activities.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
• Previous cash-handling experience is preferred.
