The role of a Financial Services Associate involves processing deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments accurately and efficiently for clients.
Supervised by the Branch Manager and Assistant Branch Manager, Financial Services Associates play a vital role in upholding the bank's Breakthrough Client Service Standards. Their primary responsibility is to perform banking transactions with accuracy, integrity, and compliance with Columbia Bank procedures and regulatory requirements. In addition, they support the growth of strong client relationships by engaging in meaningful conversations that uncover financial needs and identify opportunities to provide additional banking products and services.
Responsibilities include:
Handles teller transactions and cash responsibilities for clients with accuracy and confidentiality at all times.
Executes and supports daily operational duties essential to maintaining the integrity of branch operations.
Minimizes risk by securely safeguarding cash in the drawer and promptly processing accounting or fund transfers.
Builds relationships with internal and external clients, anticipates needs, and consistently delivers proactive solutions and problem resolution in alignment with the bank’s Breakthrough Client Service Standards.
Maintains up-to-date knowledge of Columbia Bank’s products and services and remains informed of any changes.
Assesses customer financial needs to identify and recommend appropriate products and services.
Supports branch referral objectives by identifying opportunities and referring customers to appropriate banking partners.

Qualifications include:
High school diploma or GED required.
