A pivotal member of the banking team, the Banking Sales Associate is dedicated to ensuring the fulfillment of TD's Brand promise within the Store environment by accurately and efficiently executing day-to-day banking transactions. Additionally, they are responsible for providing customers with valuable advice and educational support on the diverse array of services, products, and tools available to aid them in attaining their financial targets.

Qualifications:

  • Possession of a high school diploma or a GED is mandatory for this position.
  • Customer service experience of 1 year is ideal (volunteer work, educational background, or military service considered).
  • Preferred qualifications include proven customer service proficiency.
  • Teller experience preferred.
  • Flexibility to be present for work during evenings, weekends, and holidays according to the set schedule.
  • Teller training and Part 1 of platform training must be successfully accomplished by new employees.
  • Demonstrates strong competency in coordinating activities and handling multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced atmosphere.
  • Outstanding communication talents (precise, lucid, and unvarying).
  • Demonstrates a strong aptitude for finding solutions and organizing tasks by urgency.
  • The skill to work on one's own and accomplish tasks within specified timeframes.
  • Demonstrating good decision-making skills is important in various situations.
  • Experienced in utilizing Microsoft Office software.
  • Notary License preferred.

  • Always delivers remarkable service while raising awareness, educating, and suggesting TD items.
  • Guides referrals to Store associates and partners regarding broader financial needs.

  • Ensures compliance with operational policies, procedures, and legal mandates.
  • Enforces customer validation principles, practices meticulous scrutiny, and follows legal guidelines when facilitating transactions and initiating account setups.
  • Carries out precise transaction procedures, including depositing funds, withdrawing cash, and cashing checks.
  • Oversees cash counters, protects cash assets, respects cash constraints, and observes two-step verification methods.
  • Assures appropriate paperwork in accordance with regulations, crucial timelines, and internal checks.
  • Completes essential training focused on compliance and regulatory requirements in the workplace.

  • Endorses TD's customer service plan while ensuring decisions are made with consideration for the well-being of customers and stakeholders.
