Job Description for Investment Consultant:

Regions is looking for an Investment Consultant who will build a roster of bank customers focused on achieving the financial objectives of each client through informed advice and direction. This counsel is developed through a thorough understanding of the client's current financial position and their immediate and future goals. The preferred candidate is committed to customer service and forming partnerships and should have previous experience as a branch-based Investment Consultant.

Primary Responsibilities for Investment Consultant:

• An extensive array of investment options and products is provided to assist customers in achieving their goals, complemented by comprehensive Financial Planning services
• Acknowledges and pursues every opportunity to form customer relationships by engaging in prospecting, utilizing leads, and participating in the local market and community
• Builds and preserves a formidable clientele base and manages an ongoing influx of potential leads
• Demonstrates exceptional proficiency in portfolio planning techniques and extensive knowledge of various industries and investments
• Participates in the evaluation of investment performance and client connections
• Ensures junior staff stay informed about investment products and opportunities
• Follows compliance guidelines and adheres to corporate policies and industry protocols effectively

Work Schedule:

According to the Fair Labor Standards Act, this position is exempt from timekeeping rules and does not qualify for additional payment for overtime hours.

This position comes with incentive potential.

Requirements for Investment Consultant:

• Securing a high school diploma or a GED showcases the fulfillment of educational requirements at the secondary school level
• A six-month history in a relevant field
• Series 7
• Series 63 & 65 or Series 66
• Individuals are required to obtain a Life Insurance License within a two-month window after commencing employment

Preferences:

• Bachelor's degree
• The credentials of Certified Financial Planning, Chartered Financial Consultant, and Certified Retirement Specialist denote specialized knowledge in financial planning and retirement strategies
• Demonstrating proficiency in Financial Advisory for a span of two years
