Job Title: Commercial Loan Specialist

Commercial Loan Specialists are responsible for analyzing the financial health and creditworthiness of companies applying for loans. The primary objective is to expand and uphold lucrative client connections through the provision of financial solutions that enhance value. Proficiency in relationship management, product understanding, credit knowledge, and the capacity to autonomously handle client portfolios are essential for this role. Performance evaluation metrics include progress in business development, revenue growth, risk management efficacy, and the sustained success of client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive business expansion by identifying and pursuing prospective commercial clients, leveraging referrals for new leads, and maximizing sales potential through cross-selling strategies.
• Develop and uphold Centers of Influence (COIs) while actively participating in various networking opportunities.
• Develop loan structures and perform comprehensive analysis of creditworthiness.
• Generate financing solutions for commercial and real estate projects.
• Oversee and conclude loans typically in the range of $1 million to $10 million.
• Drive growth in deposits by advocating for the use of additional banking offerings.
• Execute other duties and tasks as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• There are no supervisory tasks or managerial obligations associated with this position.

Qualifications:

• Education: The ideal educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related area.
• Experience: A background of a minimum of four years in lending, credit support, or fostering client connections is a prerequisite.
• Knowledge: Proficiency in commercial banking products, loan approval processes, and credit evaluation methods for both C&I and real estate investments.

Skills and Abilities:

• Demonstrated expertise in developing businesses and managing client partnerships.
• Developing the capacity to expand loan portfolios and effectively cross-sell various bank offerings.
• Strong interpersonal communication and relationship-building talents.

Physical Requirements:

• Regular exchange of information and attentive hearing.
• Routine application of hands and fingers for computer and office tasks.
• Capability to assess records and fulfill clerical or administrative tasks.
• Office work with infrequent lifting tasks not exceeding 10 pounds.
