Job Description: Associate Banker

The responsibilities of an Associate Banker include opening and managing accounts, processing loan applications, and resolving customer inquiries. Tasked with furnishing financial support such as introducing and terminating accounts, aiding clients with inquiries, and endorsing bank products. Supports team development and identifies sales opportunities to satisfy customer needs.

Primary Duties:

• Create, manage, and finalize customer accounts across checking, savings, IRA, and deposit categories.
• Promote a wide selection of financial products and cross-sell services, ensuring bonus offerings are tailored to fulfill the particular requirements of clients.
• Support customers in resolving their problems and offer assistance with account management.
• Implement changes to accounts and uphold the accuracy of record-keeping.
• Ensure privacy and offer excellent customer support.
• Supervise support team operations, generate reports, and execute audits.
• Reach milestones in sales performance and relationship enhancement.

Educational Background:

• It is essential to possess a high school diploma or an equivalent degree.
• Early years of experience in banking or customer service, totaling less than three years.
• Essential familiarity with economic tools and financial instruments.

Core Expectations:

• Attending all compulsory training programs.
• Experienced in account management, debit card transactions, and customer support.
• Awareness of fraud prevention methods, wire transfer mechanisms, and online banking protocols.

Professional Capabilities:

• Excellent customer service expertise coupled with strong communication capabilities.
• Fundamental math skills and proficiency in using computers.
• Conducting oneself in a professional manner with a strong emphasis on detail.

Shift Details:

• Monday – Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Friday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Total Commitment: 40 hours per week
