Provide high-quality, precise, and prompt customer care through the daily processing of financial transactions in a retail banking environment. Serving as the primary customer interface for many individuals, the Banking Associate establishes strong rapport by delivering superior service, suggesting appropriate bank offerings, and referring clients to other Bank segments when necessary. This role contributes to revenue growth by cultivating and upholding enduring, fruitful client relations, upholding compliance with operational and procedural benchmarks, and maintaining effective cash management.

Qualifications for Banking Associate:

• A high school diploma or GED is a mandatory requirement for this role.
• Experience in cash handling or as a teller for a duration of six months is strongly preferred, or a comparable combination of education and experience.
• High level of expertise in utilizing Microsoft Office Suite.
• Proficient in the operation of office and banking gadgets, such as a 10-key calculator and coin counter.
• Successful passing of the DeGarmo Retail Behavioral Assessment is compulsory.
• All applicants are required to finish the assessment in approximately 12–15 minutes and turn it in prior to the review of their applications.

Primary Tasks and Responsibilities for Banking Associate:

Operational Efficiency:

• Maintain the equilibrium of a cash register by adhering to established cash handling controls.
• Adhere to all established policies and procedures regarding audits, security, and operations.
• Execute customer transactions, including but not limited to deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments.
• Administer miscellaneous transactions such as bonds, municipal coupons, and money orders.
• Help with the routine reconciliation and operation of ATMs, covering all required transactions.
• Verify the receipts of deposits submitted through night and lobby drop-offs.
• Support in fulfilling dual control vault duties efficiently.
• Stay informed about operational changes and procedural updates to guarantee ongoing compliance.

Client Experience:

• Deliver unwaveringly positive and professional client encounters.
• Effectively and speedily resolve any questions or concerns raised by clients.
• Provide assistance to clients in fulfilling their service needs to ensure a top-notch overall experience.
• Strengthen familiarity with products and services through attendance at sales meetings, training sessions, and online learning modules.

Sales and Service:

• Recognize moments to propose related items to clients during interactions.
• Refer individuals interested in services to the correct internal partners for a seamless experience.
• Bolster client loyalty by promoting a range of bank products and services tailored to their needs.

Compliance and Risk Management:

• Abide by the bank's regulations, policies, protocols, and internal monitoring systems.
