Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
• At least five years of experience in commercial banking, business lending, or a related financial services field.
• Strong understanding of commercial lending practices, loan evaluation, credit analysis, and banking regulations.
• Demonstrated success in business development and achieving sales objectives.
• Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities:

Business Development:

• Develop new commercial banking relationships through networking, referrals, community involvement, and proactive outreach.
• Identify opportunities for commercial loans, deposits, and other banking products and services.
• Build lasting relationships with business owners, developers, professional partners, and community organizations.
• Understand client financial needs and recommend appropriate banking solutions.

Loan Origination:

• Review commercial loan requests to ensure proper structure, pricing, documentation, and compliance with lending requirements.
• Analyze financial statements, credit information, and other relevant data to evaluate borrower creditworthiness.
• Collaborate with lending, credit, underwriting, and operations teams to support an efficient loan process.
• Assist clients throughout the loan application, documentation, approval, and closing process.

Portfolio Management:

• Manage and develop an assigned portfolio of commercial banking relationships.
• Monitor portfolio performance and maintain strong credit quality.
• Identify opportunities to expand existing relationships through additional banking products and services.
• Work with internal teams to proactively address portfolio concerns and develop effective solutions.
