Job Overview:
The Banking Services Associate is an essential figure in the banking sector, responsible for upholding TD's Brand promise within a physical Store setting by efficiently carrying out routine banking tasks. Beyond transactional duties, this role focuses on offering guidance and informative assistance regarding various services, offerings, and resources aimed at aiding customers in reaching their financial objectives.
Qualifications:
A high school diploma or its equivalent, the General Educational Development (GED) certificate, is necessary.
year of experience dealing with clients is desired (volunteer work, educational background, or military service accepted).
Strong customer service abilities are desired.
Teller experience preferred.
Willingness to complete assigned shifts during evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Completion of Teller training and the first part of platform training is required upon being hired.
Proficient in effectively organizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities in a dynamic setting.
Superb communication abilities (succinct, easily understood, and uniform).
Proficient at troubleshooting and adept at managing tasks based on their importance.
Demonstrating the capacity to operate autonomously and adhere to assigned timelines.
Having the ability to make wise and sensible decisions is crucial.
Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office.
Notary License preferred.

Successfully performs routine transactions at both the teller counter and service desk.
Manages and maintains individual deposit accounts while also dealing with concerns related to debit and credit cards.
Engages in customer engagement initiatives such as making outbound phone calls, relaying messages via SMS, following up on campaign leads, and generating leads independently.
Continuously delivers exceptional service while advocating for, informing about, and recommending TD offerings.
Directs customers to Store colleagues and partners for more extensive financial requirements.
Managing risks, ensuring compliance, and implementing controls are crucial components of risk management:
Ensures adherence to all operational guidelines, protocols, and legal standards.
Utilizes customer verification methods, conducts thorough investigations, and adheres to regulatory requirements when processing transactions and opening accounts.
Conducts transactions with precision, such as processing deposits, withdrawals, and check encashment accurately.
Manages cash registers, ensures the safety of cash, complies with cash restrictions, and enforces double-check protocols.
Verifies accurate record-keeping in compliance with standards, significant deadlines, and internal protocols.
Finishes necessary job-specific training related to compliance and regulations.

Upholds TD's customer service approach and ensures decisions are in harmony with the welfare of customers and stakeholders.
Assists in overseeing retail activities to uphold adherence to TD's risk structure.
