Job Summary:

The Assistant Branch Team Leader is responsible for advancing branch revenue, upholding operational standards, and ensuring excellent client interactions, all while prioritizing the maintenance of a positive reputation within the community.

Job Responsibilities:

• Drive business performance by expanding the market reach of essential client connections and meeting financial growth objectives. Actively pursue and coordinate appropriate client referrals to specific team members to achieve growth targets and execute profitable sales strategies.
• Sales Leadership and Coaching Duties: Responsibilities involve assisting in the coaching, development, and mentorship of team members. Actively supporting partner-led sales and marketing initiatives. Emphasizing the importance of training, development, and coaching for branch teams on our mission and how to effectively engage with broader communities and customers to meet performance targets. Responsible for aiding the Branch Banking Leader in talent management functions, including recruitment, performance assessments, staff development/training, disciplinary actions, succession planning, and ensuring staff compliance with regulations.
• Maximize the use of available tools and systems to boost client engagement and learning. Foster a culture that revolves around providing an exceptional client experience by staying true to our mission and core values.
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential reputational, regulatory, employee, and customer risks by aiding team members in grasping and complying with all pertinent bank policies and regulations. Fulfill operational excellence requirements.
• Overseeing talent management operations encompassing recruitment, performance evaluations, employee training, disciplinary actions, succession planning, and verifying staff compliance with standards.

Additional Accountabilities:

• Carries through special tasks and additional obligations as required.
• Demonstrates a commitment to upholding the regulatory and compliance guidelines tied to the job as specified and finishes the required compliance training. Responsible for ensuring compliance with relevant federal, state, and local laws and regulations.

Job Qualifications:

• Aspiring applicants must have fulfilled the educational obligation of high school completion or hold a recognized substitute credential, such as a GED, HiSET, TASC, or an equivalent foreign academic accomplishment.
• A minimum of two years of experience in sales within a branch setting is mandatory.
• Registration under the National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) might be a requisite under the provisions of the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and its associated Regulation.
• Interaction with a wide range of banking instruments and services.

• Understanding acquired through navigating banking risk management.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Candidates with a Bachelor's degree or comparable professional background are sought for this opportunity.
• Proven experience of over four years in branch banking and financial institution sales environments.
