Provide quality, accurate, and timely customer service through daily processing of financial transactions and account openings in a retail banking environment. The Customer Solutions Banker introduces bank products and services through outreach to prospects and delivers tailored recommendations to existing clients to deepen relationships. This role supports banking center goals by meeting or exceeding sales and referral targets, conducting outbound sales activities, and assisting banking center management as needed.

Qualifications for Customer Solutions Banker:

• A high school diploma or equivalent GED qualification is essential for candidates to fulfill the educational prerequisite.
• Teller experience of one year is the ideal qualification.
• Fulfilling the credit check criteria is pivotal for successfully completing the background validation.

Sales and Service:

• Assist tellers and clients promptly to optimize service delivery and minimize waiting periods.
• Process teller transactions such as depositing money, withdrawing funds, managing currencies and coins, and cashing checks.
• Set up and manage various deposit accounts, comprising checking, savings, IRAs, certificates of deposit, and money market accounts.
• Engage in consultative dialogue to identify client requirements and recommend fitting financial products and services.
• Strengthen client partnerships by promoting cross-product sales and making introductions to affiliated banks, thereby boosting business growth and fostering long-term customer relationships.
• Regularly connect with clients and potential customers through outbound calls, particularly during special deposit and loan campaigns.
• Aid clients in filling out applications for personal and retail consumer loans and transfer the finalized paperwork to the relevant staff member.

Client Experience:

• Research and resolve problems raised by clients, and provide updates on their account status upon request.
• Strive to provide clients with a consistent, professional, and positive customer journey.
• Speedily and proficiently handle client questions and resolve their concerns.
• Expand your product and service knowledge by attending sales meetings, training sessions, and web-based educational content.

Compliance and Risk Management:

• Uphold adherence to all relevant bank regulations, policies, operational guidelines, and internal control frameworks.
• Ensure adherence to both risk management standards and the Code of Ethics established by First Horizon.
• Uphold adherence to the mandates outlined in the S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 and its associated regulations.

Operational Efficiency:

• Offer assistance to employees in banking centers regarding operational activities, especially in relation to audit protocols.
• Assist in the on-the-job coaching of new employees to enhance their skills in managing banking centers.
• Keep yourself informed about operational updates and procedural adjustments to ensure ongoing conformity.
• Execute any other job-related responsibilities as needed.

Computer and Office Equipment Skills:

• Mastery of the Microsoft Office Suite software.
• Skilled in operating office and banking equipment, including a 10-key calculator and coin counting machines.
