Investment Advisors provide exceptional service to our clients and support Financial Advisor(s)/Private Wealth Advisor(s)/teams on a daily basis. As senior members of the service team, through regular interactions with clients, individuals in this role build trusted relationships. Leading with a client first mindset, a successful candidate for this role will have strong interpersonal skills and their focus will be on delivering an exceptional client experience. In supporting Financial Advisor(s)/Private Wealth Advisor(s)/teams, this role will focus on assisting in areas such as digital marketing, portfolio holdings and/or proposal tools and financial planning.
Duties and Responsibilities:
As a senior member of the service team, provide coverage for an FA/PWA/team including: cultivating relationships with business partners and colleagues internally and externally; supporting the FA/PWA/team in enhancing new and existing client relationships by providing an exceptional client experience; assisting the FA/PWA/team in delivering against their client service model, including preparing for regular meetings as well as tracking follow-ups; ensuring all client service functions are performed in a timely manner, assigning work to team members on a daily basis if/as needed; providing backup coverage for traditional registered or unregistered Client Service Associate responsibilities at the request of the client and/or FA/PWA/team, such as executing money movement transactions, answering general non-investment related questions concerning clients accounts, educating or enrolling clients in digital tools, accepting or entering unsolicited orders and/or entering solicited orders in a clerical capacity; remaining current on all policies, procedures and new platforms and sharing reminders and best practices with other service team members.
Supporting the FA/PWA/team in organizing and executing their business strategy, collaborating closely with other key market stakeholders like Practice Strategy Consultants and Branch Management.
Coordinating administrative tasks related to digital and offline marketing strategies, such as workshops, online seminars, websites, social media channels, and ongoing email correspondence.
Crafting and assessing diverse client reports or financial plans through authorized systems for existing or potential clients.
Helping with research assignments through organization-approved systems.
Engaging in client interactions, highlighting the service-oriented perspective.
Participating in organizational endeavors, specific projects, and/or additional duties as guided by local leaders.
The integration of academic learning, practical expertise, information, and capabilities is a key factor in achieving success in various endeavors:
A minimum of five years of professional experience in a relevant field is a key requirement for this position.
An ideal candidate will have a four-year college degree or professional certification.
A necessity for this role is to possess certifications in Series 7 (GS) and either Series 66 (AG/RA) or Series 63 (AG) and Series 65 (RA).
It could be necessary to secure additional product licenses.
Strong leadership skills.
Proficient in different financial products like equities, fixed income securities, options, collective investment schemes, insurance solutions, and professionally managed accounts.
Excelling in technical competencies and displaying a rapid grasp of evolving platforms.
Recognized for thorough attention to detail, advanced organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
Capable of effectively utilizing fundamental personal computer skills, MS Office programs like MS Excel, and internet applications.
Impressive expertise in creating impactful written content, developing relationships, and ensuring client satisfaction.
