Delivers exceptional support to BMO clients and potential customers by identifying their requirements and offering recommendations on financial solutions that suit their interests. Works together seamlessly within the branch and across diverse channels with BMO peers to provide the preferred customer experience and accomplish overarching business aims.

Qualifications:

  • Ideally, applicants should possess 2 to 3 years of pertinent experience along with a post-secondary education in a relevant field, or an equal combination of academic qualifications and work experience.
  • Completion of the registration process for selling investment products in Canada has been duly conducted as required by the jurisdiction.
  • Proper lending requirements and credentials.
  • Acquiring a grasp of the demands and resolutions essential for personal and small business clients from hands-on involvement.
  • Familiarity with retail investment options and loan products.
  • A history in the financial industry can be beneficial.
  • Competent and knowledgeable in navigating social media, tablets, smartphones, internet tools, and software.
  • Background in customer service or sales that focuses on offering consultative support and ensuring a tailored customer experience.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assists individuals in navigating the array of digital tools and self-serve features designed to enhance convenience and efficiency in banking transactions.
  • Meets customer transaction demands in alignment with foot traffic in the store.
  • Encourages customer interaction to enhance BMO's growth through outreach efforts, appointment scheduling, and fostering new community bonds.
  • Resolves queries and discrepancies highlighted in consumer credit audits and quality evaluations to maintain precise data entry and provide lending application advice that adheres to legal requirements and lending policies and procedures.
  • The risk management framework is utilized to protect the Bank's assets and ensure the lending portfolio's quality aligns with the required standards and established guidelines for yield, quality, diversification, and risk.
  • Evaluates credit eligibility for individual borrowing needs, especially for home loans, by applying appropriate credit assessment criteria aligned with the Bank's standards.
  • Contributes significantly to a cooperative and flexible sector and regional unit.
  • Employing investigative methods to grasp the personal banking and credit card necessities of customers and blending marketing promotions seamlessly into customer interactions to offer informed guidance.
