Job Summary:

Responsible for driving branch revenue, maintaining operational standards, and ensuring exceptional client experiences, the Branch Banking Assistant Leader also prioritizes the establishment of a positive reputation within the local community.

Job Responsibilities:

• Enhance business performance by advancing the market development of crucial client connections and attaining financial growth targets. Actively scout and coordinate suitable client introductions to designated team members to meet growth objectives and drive successful sales endeavors.
• Sales Leadership and Coaching Support: Providing help in coaching, development, and mentorship of team members. Actively backing sales and marketing initiatives generated by partners. Stressing the need for training, development, and coaching for branch teams on our mission and effective engagement with broader communities and customers to meet performance targets. Tasked with supporting the Branch Banking Leader in talent management functions which include recruitment, performance assessments, staff development/training, disciplinary actions, succession planning, and ensuring staff adherence to compliance requirements.
• Harness the power of tools and systems to elevate client engagement and educational experiences. Cultivate a culture that is deeply rooted in providing exceptional client service by wholeheartedly embracing our mission and purpose.
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks concerning reputation, regulations, employees, and clients by fostering team members' comprehension and adherence to all applicable bank policies and regulations. Meet operational excellence objectives.
• Spearheading talent management tasks like staffing, performance reviews, employee development, disciplinary measures, succession arrangements, and ensuring staff uphold compliance standards.

Additional Accountabilities:

• Carries out particular projects and added responsibilities as necessary.
• Demonstrates a commitment to following the regulatory and compliance protocols relevant to the job as outlined and completing the mandatory compliance training. Responsible for ensuring compliance with the applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.

Job Qualifications:

• The educational criterion to be met is the high school level or its equivalent, encompassing qualifications such as a GED, HiSET, TASC, or a foreign credential deemed comparable.
• Applicants are expected to have a minimum of two years of branch sales experience.
• Individuals may be required to register with the National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) as per the regulations outlined in the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and accompanying Regulation.
• Experience navigating through a multitude of banking products and their functionalities.

• Expertise in mitigating risks within the realm of banking.

Preferred Qualifications:

• The desired educational background for this role is either a 4-year undergraduate degree or the equivalent in practical experience.
• An established career with over four years dedicated to branch banking and sales within financial institutions.
• Practical experience in a position of leadership.
