The Senior Float Banker focuses on providing outstanding customer service by offering sales, assistance, and digital interaction for Consumer and Business Banking clients. They assist in the smooth operation of branch activities, cater to customer sales and service requirements, and organize customer meetings to uncover needs and direct intricate matters to the right colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive customer engagement by educating them about Consumer and Business Banking services. Propose tailored solutions to address individual requirements and emphasize the importance of utilizing digital banking capabilities.
• Handling appointments and consultations involves overseeing customer visits, whether they are pre-arranged or impromptu, to pinpoint their financial requirements and facilitate their referral to suitable banking specialists for intricate matters.
• Abide by the sales process outlined by the bank and give simplified, customer-centric recommendations.
• Client Interaction: Interact with clients in the lobby, greet them, address inquiries, and assert ownership in resolving their immediate banking necessities.
• Offer support in daily branch operations by aiding with customer transactions, addressing overdraft challenges, and verifying adherence to internal guidelines. Complete operational tasks as instructed.
• Compliance and Risk Management: Keeping up-to-date with Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), and Know Your Customer (KYC) procedures. Recognizing and reporting suspected fraudulent activities. Guaranteeing adherence to operational and regulatory guidelines.
• Customer Resolution: Promptly address and record customer complaints, following through with efficient resolution and proper documentation. Ensure customer concerns are resolved effectively and promptly.
• Sales Referrals encompass the identification of sales opportunities and the referral of customers to the correct banking counterparts for customized product options.

Scope of Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service and efficiently tackle any issues customers encounter.
• Expand sales opportunities and elevate customer satisfaction within the branch setting.
• Manage various responsibilities within the department, including initiating new account setups and completing loan applications, as well as addressing customer issues and facilitating financial transactions.
• Convey understanding and care for customers, prioritize their satisfaction in every interaction, be ready to accommodate different situations, and exhibit comfort in utilizing digital technology when engaging with customers.

Criteria for Education and Experience:

• Holding a GED or a high school diploma.
• Experience of one year in retail sales, call center operations, customer service, or telesales is essential.
• Skilled in verbal and interpersonal communication techniques.
• Proficiency in managing challenging customer interactions and diverse customer requirements.
• Well-organized with strong time management and prioritization skills.
• Expertise in maintaining performance levels in a high-pressure, team-centric, fast-paced scenario.
• Adept at using internet-level technology effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Adjusting bilingualism to suit the requirements of the branch.
• Demonstrated expertise in driving sales or securing referrals.
• Physical Requirements:

• Sustained usage of hands and fingers for an extended time frame.
