Job Overview:

The Regional Equipment Director is responsible for leading the marketing and growth of equipment finance lending and leasing solutions to medium and large commercial clients within an assigned territory. This performance-driven role requires strong independence in identifying new business opportunities and maintaining an ongoing client acquisition and engagement strategy.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with internal teams to establish new business relationships and enhance existing client portfolios
• Retain, manage, and expand current customer relationships
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with organizations generating more than $15M in annual revenue
• Partner with Relationship Managers and Treasury Management Officers to increase cross-selling of banking products and services
• Prepare proposals, commitment documents, credit applications, and supporting documentation as required
• Stay current on equipment finance products, lending policies, structuring approaches, and regulatory guidelines
• Ensure portfolio management and risk controls comply with credit policies and applicable regulations
• Identify and execute opportunities for cross-selling additional products and services to existing clients
• Design and implement outreach and calling strategies to generate new business opportunities
• Maintain an active pipeline of prospects and manage ongoing client relationships effectively
• Guide and support team members in prospecting, credit evaluation, financial analysis, and underwriting processes
• Ensure full compliance with organizational policies, procedures, legal requirements, and regulatory standards
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Organizational Relationship:

This role reports directly to the Managing Director of Direct Originations.

Position Qualifications Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, banking, or a related discipline required; MBA preferred
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in equipment finance sales
• Experience using SuperTrump, TValue, InfoAnalysis, and CRM platforms

Knowledge and Skills:

• Strong expertise in credit evaluation and financial analysis
• Ability to independently manage complex lending structures
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Strong analytical thinking and interpersonal skills
• In-depth knowledge of equipment finance lending and leasing products
• Ability to structure loans and make well-informed credit decisions
• Proven success in sales and business development
• Ability to perform effectively in a target-driven sales environment
• Strong multitasking and organizational capabilities
• Understanding of commercial lending regulations and compliance requirements
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and Outlook

Additional Information:

Compensation will be determined based on education, experience, certifications, and other relevant factors. This role may also be eligible for performance-based incentives or discretionary profit-sharing programs.
