Registered Client Service Associates help shape the future of service by modernizing the client experience through an elevated standard of care. The Client Service Associate assists with the development and growth of business through engaging and utilizing the full capabilities of the firm. This is a key role that requires an understanding of firm policies, procedures and firm capabilities in order to deliver the full firm to clients.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Client Support:
Enhance and foster client relationships by consistently communicating with clients, addressing their requests, resolving inquiries, providing guidance, and maintaining the accuracy of key information and documentation
Identify and offer assistance in accessing Firm services and solutions that cater to clients' needs, which may encompass banking products and services as well as secure, digital platforms like Morgan Stanley Online and Morgan Stanley Mobile
Confirm permission and verify the authenticity of the client during request processing
Oversee the initiation and retention of client accounts by gathering client data and essential paperwork, overseeing financial transactions for illustration
Assess and address client account alerts in a timely manner
Other:
Engage with financial experts to develop a business roadmap and deliver on client servicing standards
Play a role in the team's marketing plan through the upkeep of marketing materials, digital and social media presence, and the organization of client events and educational sessions
Involve yourself proactively in accessible training and educational initiatives that are aligned with the firm's strategic focuses, personal growth, and staying informed about policies, procedures, and emerging platforms, in addition to committing to attending targeted monthly field service professional training calls
Provide administrative support to Financial Advisors by handling tasks such as telephone coverage, arranging business travel, scheduling client meetings, preparing expense reports for travel, and maintaining filing systems along with calendars
Take an active part in projects managed by the local leadership team
Regularly seek opportunities to use firm resources for peer sharing and collaborating with Financial Advisors
Qualifications, on-the-job training, familiarity, and proficiencies are important aspects that contribute to one's skills:
Education and/or Experience:
High School Diploma/Equivalency
College degree preferred
Having hands-on experience in the field is a positive
Determination to earn Series 7 (GS) and Series 66 (AG/RA) or Series 63 (AG) alongside Series 65 (RA) credentials
Knowledge/Skills:
Possessing strong abilities in computer literacy and familiarity with various Microsoft Office tools
Remarkable skills in written communication, client interactions, and service delivery
Having a sharp focus on details, exceptional organizational capabilities, and the capacity to effectively prioritize tasks
Exhibits a talent for cooperating with others and supporting team objectives
Expertise in managing responsibilities in a fast-paced and ever-changing workplace
