Job Description:

The Teller serves as the first point of contact for customers by delivering FirstBank service excellence, processing transactions in line with bank policies and procedures, assisting with customer inquiries, and identifying and referring cross-sell opportunities when appropriate.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist customers with transactional needs according to established guidelines, brand model, and service standards, including responding to basic inquiries such as account balances, transaction history, service charges, and interest rates.
• Maintain daily operational standards including cash drawer security, daily cash balancing, item capture procedures, counterfeit currency detection, coin counting and rolling, ATM balancing, and maintaining teller station supplies.
• Demonstrate knowledge of bank products and services and educate customers on digital banking solutions including mobile, online, ATM, and other technology-based services.
• Identify customer needs and refer them to appropriate bank partners for additional products or services.
• Protect the bank from risk by following procedures and confidentiality guidelines including CTRs, SARs, Regulation CC holds, documentation requirements, and robbery procedures.
• Deliver consistent and distinctive service aligned with the FirstBank customer experience standards.
• Follow all banking regulations, internal controls, operational procedures, and risk management policies, including security protocols related to fraud prevention and cash handling.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• Requires understanding of banking regulations and compliance standards, including FirstBank-specific policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Basic computer and math skills required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Less than two years
• Must be bonded within first six months of employment.
