Job Description for Investment Consultant:

Investment Consultant are based within bank branches and work collaboratively across multiple branches while managing an assigned book of business. Advisors execute an advice and planning strategy to help clients achieve their savings, investing, and retirement goals. Responsibilities:

• Engages in discussions with clients about investment and insurance tactics, creating personalized financial roadmaps.
• Establishes and preserves a collection of investment and insurance assets.
• Enhances the quality of customer interactions by efficiently managing sales and service responsibilities, identifying growth opportunities, and referring clients to internal resources as required.
• Establishes and fosters customer connections by prioritizing business growth and networking efforts.
• Elevates client loyalty and share of wallet by providing exceptional client service.
• Utilizes knowledge of products and processes to handle client issues efficiently and with appropriateness.
• Constructs and executes investment and insurance plans, choosing relevant products to back the aspirations of the client.
• Offers individualized financial advice and recommendations that are designed to meet the specific needs and objectives of clients.
• Observes financial proposals and provides recommendations for amendments.
• Instructs and assists branch staff and internal associates in identifying opportunities for investment.
• Advances investment knowledge and visibility among branch workforce.
• Assists branch managers and investment sales associates in managing branch activities to accomplish investment outcomes.
• Sustains proactive communication with internal and external partners to stimulate referral interactions.
• Regularly assesses business performance and pipeline monitoring alongside branch managers and partners.
• Fulfills the service level agreement obligations related to lead and referral follow-up responsibilities.
• Observes all applicable laws, rules, and regulations.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Often mandates the possession of a Bachelor’s degree.
• Two years or more of relevant professional background.
• Instead of solely requiring a degree, a blend of education, specialized certifications, and relevant experience (which may include military service) could be considered.
• Competent in client prospecting, relationship nurturing, credit risk evaluation, financial analysis, financial modeling creation, public speaking engagements, and sales undertakings.
• Proficient in coaching, adept at communication, and skilled in managing customer interactions.
