Mortgage Loan Specialist

Job Description:

Mortgage Loan Specialists assist clients throughout the home financing process by collecting financial information, evaluating credit profiles, and determining appropriate loan eligibility based on income, assets, and overall financial standing.

This is a full-time, hybrid, commission-based role located at the North Broad Street office in Philadelphia, PA. The Mortgage Loan Specialist is responsible for originating mortgage loans, building strong referral networks, and guiding clients through the entire lending process to help them achieve their homeownership goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain relationships with real estate agents, builders, and developers to generate mortgage referrals
• Collect and analyze client financial data including income, credit history, and assets
• Determine loan eligibility and recommend suitable mortgage products
• Guide clients through loan options, terms, and application procedures
• Promote additional banking and financial services when appropriate
• Manage loan files, ensure accuracy of documentation, and maintain compliance with regulations
• Maintain consistent communication with clients throughout the mortgage process

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum 1 year of experience in residential mortgage lending or completion of a related training program
• Strong ability to build and maintain referral relationships

Compliance and Additional Duties:

• Must comply with all company policies, regulatory requirements, and compliance standards; additional duties may be assigned as needed

Licensing Requirement:

• May require registration with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS)
