Job Summary: Audit Coordinator

Partners with their assigned Line of Business, other Risk/Compliance/Audit professionals, and RCA Managers to create, implement, maintain, review or oversee an effective risk management framework. Participates in projects and activities that ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Identifies gaps and informs solutions that minimize losses resulting from inadequate internal processes, systems or human errors. Identifies, responds to, and escalates risks as appropriate. Serves as a functional liaison between the Line of Business and the Lines of Defense.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist audit management in planning audit engagements, including risk assessment, process analysis, and control design evaluation
• Supervise staff auditors in performing control testing using approved audit methodologies and documentation standards
• Collaborate with audit leadership to develop audit issues, including risk identification, root cause analysis, and cost-effective recommendations
• Support audit reporting activities, including preparation and presentation of audit results
• Apply coaching feedback to support continuous professional development
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience
• Typically more than five years of related professional experience

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Strong knowledge of financial services, including accounting, financial reporting, taxation, SOX, regulatory compliance, and risk management
• In-depth understanding of global internal audit professional standards
• CIA, CPA, or other relevant professional certification or advanced degree
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong critical thinking and analytical capabilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet varying deadlines

Work Schedule:

This position follows a hybrid work model requiring a minimum of three days per week in the office, with remote work flexibility on remaining days.
