Job Overview:

The Loan Services Analyst is responsible for servicing consumer, small business, SBA, and commercial loans in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment. This role involves complex assignments requiring independent judgment and initiative to resolve issues and provide recommendations. The position interacts with bank staff at all levels, customers, escrow/title personnel, attorneys, and other external professionals.

Qualifications & Skills:

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• 2-4 years of experience in consumer, SBA, or commercial/business loan servicing.
• Strong knowledge of consumer, SBA, and commercial/business loans, lending products, services, and documentation requirements.
• Proficient in multitasking and adapting quickly to frequent workflow changes.
• Strong mathematical, analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
• Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills across all organizational levels.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, loan servicing systems, and other office applications.
• Able to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced service-oriented environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct loan servicing operations, including managing general loan maintenance, processing payments, inputting data meticulously, generating loan documents, perfecting liens, assisting with escrow and tax matters, evaluating flood documentation, and reconciling the general ledger.
• Follow procedural guidelines and regulatory mandates in handling consumer, small business, SBA, and commercial loan applications through structured workflows.
• Provide excellent service and timely responses to internal and external requests.
• Use performance metrics to assist management in coordinating and optimizing daily workflow.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and support the implementation of workflow enhancements.
• Ensure accuracy, meet deadlines, and communicate status for potential reassignment.
• Serve as a subject matter expert in loan servicing to guide others in understanding processes and policies effectively.
• Encourage collaborative learning and knowledge sharing among team members.
• Contribute to cross-functional projects involving multiple divisions and departments.
• Maintain compliance with all bank regulations, policies, and procedures by staying updated on any changes.

Compensation:
