Job Description: Audit Reviewer

Partners with their assigned Line of Business, other Risk/Compliance/Audit professionals, and RCA Managers to create, implement, maintain, review or oversee an effective risk management framework. Participates in projects and activities that ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Identifies gaps and informs solutions that minimize losses resulting from inadequate internal processes, systems or human errors. Identifies, responds to, and escalates risks as appropriate. Serves as a functional liaison between the Line of Business and the Lines of Defense.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
• Typically five or more years of relevant work experience

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Strong knowledge of financial services, including accounting, financial reporting, tax, SOX, regulatory standards, and risk management
• Comprehensive understanding of the International Professional Practices Framework (IPPF)
• CIA, CPA, or other relevant professional certification or advanced education
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong critical thinking and analytical abilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet varying deadlines

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist audit management in planning engagements, including risk assessment, process analysis, and control evaluation
• Oversee staff auditors performing control testing in accordance with audit programs and internal standards
• Develop audit issues by identifying risk exposure, root causes, impact, and practical solutions
• Support audit reporting and conclusion processes, including drafting audit reports
• Apply feedback and guidance received through coaching
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Work Schedule:

This role follows a hybrid schedule requiring in-office presence at least three days per week, with remote work flexibility on remaining days.
