Associate Personal Banker

The primary role of a Loan Processor includes managing the end-to-end loan application process, ensuring timely and accurate completion of required documentation. Loan Processors review client information, verify financial data, and work closely with loan officers, underwriters, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth loan approvals. They are expected to maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies, and provide excellent service to clients throughout the process. Loan Processors undergo training on banking products, loan procedures, and compliance requirements to perform their roles effectively.

Principal Duties and Obligations:

• Review and verify loan applications, ensuring all required documentation is complete and accurate.
• Communicate with clients to obtain missing information and clarify application details.
• Coordinate with loan officers, underwriters, and other departments to ensure timely processing and approval of loans.
• Ensure all loan files comply with company policies, BSA, CIP, and other regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of loan applications and related documents.
• Provide updates to clients regarding loan status and respond to inquiries in a professional manner.
• Assist in resolving any discrepancies or issues with loan documentation.
• Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple loan files efficiently.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with clients, loan officers, and other stakeholders.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining accuracy and compliance.
• HS Diploma/GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 12 months of experience in banking, lending, or customer service with goal-oriented performance.
• Familiarity with loan processing regulations and requirements, including NMLS registration if applicable.
• Proficiency with MS Office programs.
• Familiarity with loan processing software and banking systems.
• Occasional travel may be required for training, meetings, or assisting with branch support.
• Ability to provide guidance and support to other banking professionals regarding loan processing procedures.
