Position Overview:

The Teller is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while accurately processing a variety of financial transactions. This role plays an important part in building strong customer relationships and supporting daily branch operations.

What You’ll Do:

• Process a variety of financial transactions including check cashing, withdrawals, deposits, and loan payments while maintaining accuracy
• Operate a teller drawer to serve customers and bank personnel in the lobby or drive-up
• Identify cross-sell opportunities and refer customers to appropriate bank personnel
• Develop the ability to recognize potential fraud and report concerns to management
• Comply with all departmental, bank, and regulatory policies and procedures
• Uphold the established Wintrust culture
• Assist with bank opening and closing procedures as needed
• Participate in community events when required

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 6 months experience in cash handling or customer service
• High school diploma or GED required
• Ability to travel between branches as needed
• Availability to work all shifts, including Saturdays
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
