Job Summary:

A Private Client Banker delivers personalized financial solutions to affluent and high-value clients by supporting their daily banking needs, opening and maintaining accounts, providing consultative guidance, and recommending tailored products and services aligned with client goals.

Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Business Development:

Quickly establish a consistent SBA and private client business development cadence in the marketplace, including but not limited to:
Creating call plans and tracking follow-up activities
Client retention and relationship deepening calls
New client prospecting focused on high-net-worth and business clients
Engaging in telephone communication to build and maintain client relationships
Participating in networking and community events
Sustain and expand a diverse network of influential community and business leaders within a Center of Influence (COI) framework to drive referrals
Responsible for sales activities, credit assessment, loan structuring, preparation and submission of SBA loan packages, conducting client meetings, and evaluating client financial profiles
Develop new relationships and establish strategic partnerships to grow the private client portfolio

Credit Acumen:

Demonstrates expertise in business and private client credit solutions, including:
Structuring appropriate terms and products aligned with business needs, asset lifecycle, and growth strategies
Reviewing business and personal financial statements and tax returns to assess creditworthiness and risk
Identifying short- and long-term credit needs based on business sales cycles and growth objectives
Educating prospective clients on loan evaluation processes, SBA programs, and applicable government
