Job Description:

In the role of a Floating Banker at First Citizens Bank, you will be tasked with upholding the tradition of building and expanding relationships with local business proprietors to help them achieve their financial goals.

Floating Bankers are responsible for acquiring and managing a portfolio of business banking relationships.This associate engages bank partners to provide a full range of deposit and related business services. Larger relationships may be managed with manager approval and/or appropriate partner support. Develops and maintains an active prospect list, customer outreach plan and quality referral sources in accordance with a sales plan to achieve production goals and profitability objectives.

• Take part in a proficient loan approval process through open communication and collaboration with credit partners.
• Work together with a range of bank partners to support and intensify the comprehensive client association.

Qualifications:

• Applicants are required to have either a bachelor's degree along with four years of experience in business lending, credit, or business development, or a high school diploma/GED and at least eight years of experience in these specific areas.
• Established adeptness in business development and validated skill in evolving and amplifying client relationships.
• Excelling in financial analysis proficiency and conducting thorough credit evaluations.
• Insight into the variety of business loan products, deposit services, and tools for superior cash management.
• Effective in conveying messages, negotiating deals, and delivering presentations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Structured conflicts of interest (COIs) and referral sources
• Skills in financial analysis and credit assessment are critical for accurately determining the creditworthiness of borrowers and setting appropriate credit limits
• Awareness of business loan options, deposit solutions, and cash flow management tools is essential for business growth
• Proficient in dispensing financial advice and expertise
• Competent in sales prognosis and predictive planning
