Job Description:

The Senior Account Specialist is responsible for prospecting and vending loan/lease and turn-key bank loan products to fresh leads and existing relationships within the private and public middle market sector. Development of new business is carried out through direct sales efforts directed at middle market companies, which may be privately or publicly owned, operating in various industries such as manufacturing, wholesale, distribution, and services, and more.

Essential Functions:

• Start and recognize new business chances, which could involve existing customers and engaging in outreach for new clients through cold calling and physical meetings
• Coordinate personal meet-ups with potential clients to elucidate Northwest's product features, rates, and terms of financing arrangements
• Accomplish and excel volume goals by efficiently targeting, validating, and concluding equipment finance transactions within the given geographic area through direct channels
• Leveraging industry understanding, analytical competencies, product awareness, and communication prowess to pinpoint, develop, engage, and sustain customer relationships
• Establish, structure, put forth, and end valid finance deals
• Stay proactive in managing customer relationships by closely observing and responding to shifts in market conditions and competitors
• Assist with the credit function and personnel as and when needed
• Being skilled in Excel and having utilized a CRM tool before is a bonus
• Follow Northwest's established policies and procedures while also abiding by Federal and State regulations to guarantee compliance
• Improve proficiency in utilizing Microsoft Office tools and specialized software tailored to the department's needs for efficient technology utilization
• Contribute to collective goals through teamwork
• Employ on-location equipment to facilitate tasks

The employer prioritizes individuals with a mix of academic credentials and practical know-how:

• Completion of a bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related studies is necessary
• A background of five to six years in marketing and sales roles is expected, ideally gained from working in a commercial finance firm or banking institution
• Proficient in the art of fostering and sustaining long term relationships with high-ranking managers of mid-sized enterprises
• A self-governing and undaunted marketer with an enterprising mindset and extensive knowledge in initiating, screening, and completing various funding selections.
• Demonstrated ability in corporate financial sales, consistently achieving volume quotas and establishing strong rapport with clients
• Being able to consistently recognize opportunities and establish relationships with the candidate's existing pool of contacts as well as developing new clients is fundamental
