Retail Bank Teller

Role Overview:

This position is responsible for delivering high quality customer service, processing financial transactions accurately, assisting both existing and prospective customers, and contributing to branch sales objectives.

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver excellent customer service by ensuring positive customer experiences
Process routine customer transactions and cash handling activities
Perform daily cash balancing to maintain accuracy
Identify referral opportunities to support branch performance goals
Comply with banking laws and regulations, including Atlantic Union Bankshares’ BSA/AML Policy and Procedures
Identify potential risks and escalate issues appropriately
Maintain knowledge of bank products, services, and related business lines
Adapt to evolving digital banking platforms and tools
Perform additional duties as assigned

Reporting Structure:

This role reports directly to the assigned branch leader.

Eligibility Criteria:

High school diploma or equivalent required
Cash handling experience preferred
Prior customer service experience required

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Sound judgment and decision making ability
Basic computer proficiency
Ability to multitask with strong attention to detail
Flexibility and adaptability in changing environments
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 pounds
Willingness to work variable shifts based on business needs

Compensation & Workplace:
